To a pan add 2 tbsp of sesame oil on medium high heat. Add in the grated ginger and minced garlic and cook till fragrant (1-2 min).
Add thin sliced beef to the pan and cook until brown.
While your beef is browning, add two cups of washed jasmine rice to a pot with approx. 4 cups of water (water should go up to your first knuckle). Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer until rice is cooked ( approx. 8 min).
Once the beef is cooked add soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar to the pan. Mix to combine and let simmer until the sauce becomes slightly thicker.
Serving
Add rice and beef to a bowl. Top with cucumbers, carrots, green onion, and jalapeños.
Optional: Kimchi
Devour and have someone else do the dishes. 😜 Don’t worry there aren’t many!
